How many firefighters in your department: Roughly 300

Interesting facts about yourself/department: The new Dallas Cowboy Stadium is being built on the border of our fire district. It should be completed to play in the 2009 football season. Oh yeah, and we are having the Superbowl in Arlington in 2011.

How many/what type of fire apparatus: 3 ambulances, 2 engines (1 is rescue combo), 2 tenders, 1 ladder, 2 brush trucks, 1 older rescue we seldom use.

The apparatus you ride on (or favorite): Have to use all of them but I probably prefer the ambulances.

Interesting facts about yourself/department: Response area is over 200 sq. miles covering 3 different counties in Western Colorado and Eastern Utah.

all frontline engines are Pierce 1500 gpm. 7 from 1999, 4 from 2000, 1 from
2005. Truck 221 is a 1999 Pierce 105' all-steer (eeeek!) on permanent all-
steer lockout status. Truck 224 is a 1995 Seagraves 100' tiller. 7 new Pierce
PUC engines and 2 Pierce 100' tillers due to be placed into service in August
2008.
USAR Heavy Rescue Cross Staffing and Haz Mat Cross Staffing as needed.
