Hi everyone,

As Michele said, thank you for inviting me to your network. I am looking forward to discussing and researching your areas policies and procedures as introducing them to our county.

We are hosting an Emergency Vehicle car show at the City of Ripon Community Center on October 4, 2008 from 0800-approx. 1700. This is FREE to the public and is a great chance to see some nicely restored emergency vehicles. Look for me in the '72 Cadillac Ambulance! If interested, I will give or post directions from Hwy 99.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for inviting me into your California First Responders network. In San Diego on September 11th my organization, Unite In Peace will hold the Candlelight Vigil at the Veteran's Memorial Garden in Balboa Park commencing at 8:10 PM following the Freedom Walk which starts at 6:00 PM. Please attend and let family, friends and colleagues know and have them forward this info to their families, friends and colleagues. We are expecting over 250 people to come.

Mayor Jerry Sanders of San Diego will recognize Unite In Peace for its leadership in community service and will commend the organization for its dedication and tireless work for those who have been affected by adversity and tragedy including educating the public of the urgent need for medical and daily attention for our 9/11 First Responders and their families.

Unite In Peace is currently seeking sponsors and volunteers for our Steps To Heal Walk-N-Fest for 9/11 Heroes event on October 18th from 10:00 AM -6:00 PM at the San Diego County Administration Building, downtown San Diego. We are raising money and creating awareness to help our 9/11 Responders & Recovery Workers plight be heard and help monetarily with their medical and basic family needs.
