- What you should know about me
- I have been employed by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office since May 2000. Got promoted to Sergeant in March of 2007 and switched to Baker District Nights. I supervise a crew of 3 road patrol deputies in addition to being the handler for the only Explosive Detection K9 in the County. I also teach In-Service Training as well as assist at Caldwell Community College in Hudson, NC. Did I mention I am also into anything of a tactical nature especially K9. I am also the only person on my crew to carry an AR-15 for my reach out and touch someone ops - should the need present itself.
- Other Activities and Interest
- I am really into working out specifically weight training and running. I also am into draft horses, tractors well, anything farm related for that matter. Into the Internet and designing and maintaining my own web site. Also enjoy reading and learning new things. I also play , write, and teach Marching Percussion as well as sing.

- At present I have no other line of work unless you count Instructing/ Teaching.

Physical Training
Been a while since my last entry. Today is Thursday 9 October 2008 and it is 2030hrs as I write this. Earlier today I taught a Response to Critical Incidents in-service class for my agency then after that I met up with a friend and colleague of mine with the City of Lincolnton Police Department. My friend's name is Richard Taylor. He works the same rotation and same shift except he is with the City while I'm with County. My crew
It is Sunday 14 September 2008 at 0235hrs as I write this post. This past Friday 12 September 2008 I started riding with a new hire who happens to be training on my crew. The new hire's name is J. Witherspoon and he is no stranger to law enforcement - just new to Lincoln County Sheirff's Office. As it turns out his current FTO, R.
